The girl: according to herself. What is heartbreakable.com? Heartbreakable is the coalition of my insight into fashion, graphic & web design. Although right now its more of a personal site, in the future you will be able to browse my fashion, graphic & web design portfolios. Where did heartbreakable.com come from? The word "heartbreakable" is the union of two words: heart-break & unbreakable. I fused the two words together while having a conversation with my good friend Lindsey a few years back. So, then voila! we now have: heartbreakable. This has a very deep meaning to me as I have been through a lot of "heart-break". I feel as though no matter how rough the waters of love may be, my heart is unbreakable. I may have crashed, burned and even fallen, but I will never completely break. So now that we have learned a little about the origin of my site, I would like to tell you about myself. About me: I graduated high school in 2001 from South Park High School with a major in Art/Science. I continued my education in Graphic Design a year later at Erie Community College. I never quite finished my associates degree in Graphic Art. The summer of 2004 I applied to go to FIDM located in the heart of down-town LA's fashion district. After a lot of hard work, I was accepted into their design program. I moved out to Los Angeles with high hopes of enrolling for the Fall Quarter. After all of the expenses and bad debt, I realized I could not afford the tuition at that time.So I continued my stay in LA working towards that goal. After working for the Hustler Hollywood Retail group in Beverly Hills, I learned a lot about the retail environment, fashion merchandising and many other things it finally started to all work itself out. In the Fall of 2006 I started towards my degree in Fashion Design at FIDM. After a few quarters of fashion design, which I loved I realized the Fashion Industry and Los Angeles was no longer a place for my heart. I moved back to Buffalo transferring to Buffalo State College where I am continuing my education to be an Art Teacher. So as you can see, Art is my life, I am passionate about all things creative and will continue to leave my mark upon this world by doing what I love.
